GIIF in passive mode from 2005.

After 15 years of activity the GIIF is put to sleep by the end of 2004. It started with the IMIMG
in 1989 and upgrading it to GIIF in 1987 (see homepage for more info). A respectable age
for an technology organisation these days.

Much has happened since 1994 regarding technology, the market and its surroundings. We can,
without pretentiousness, say that during this period we got phase one of the digital daily
life into most homes and companies.

Due to lower activity the last years the GIIF BOD decided to put the fora into "sleeping" mode from 2005.

This means that the GIIF work as we have known it has ended the 31st of Desember 2004. The
homepage will be kept alive for a couple of years and requests will be reponded to on a non
guarantee basis ("best effort").
